If I am not looking at my own photos on the back of my camera, scrolling online or viewing images on my computer, then I am looking at Pinterest to get inspiration and ideas.  I LOVE spending my time looking at all sorts of photographers... professional, amateur, hobbyists ...everyone!  And I adore when moms and grandmothers get involved in planning their shoot and making their props.  I got a phone call weeks before the due date with some ideas and inspiration that mom had and wanted to try to recreate.  I always tell families that these are YOUR photos and I want you to cherish them for years and years.  I am only the person pushing the button and they are your art for your walls and your treasured memories.  My job is to capture your inspiration.  So... I smiled and told her that as long as her ideas kept baby safety in mind, we would have great fun with her shoot and get creative!!  Here are the images that we created together... she was a little angel and mom and dad were so awesome. 

I did not get a chance to meet grandma but she made the hat the the leaves by copying something on instagram.  Of course, in addition to the Pinterest inspired photos she wanted to re-create, I also had to have my classic, simple sleepy newborn photos to show off the beauty and tiny delicate features of this precious sleeping baby girl.  Best of both worlds!!!  Classic, elegant, timeless portraits mixed in with great fun and creativity!!!   How great is this????  One of my favorite shoots ever!!  And Mom and Dad are AWESOME!!!!! :)
