This was a great afternoon capturing this sweet little man.  It was his first birthday and we celebrated by capturing some great moments with mom and dad and this little boy.  His facial expressions were hilarious and he was as loving as could be.    Having spent a few hours with them, he was so easy going with never a fuss or a noise and some of his expressions made me laugh out loud!!  I always try to make kids laugh and I am goofy and silly and this little one did not think I was particularly funny.... And that made mom and dad and me laugh while he looked at the three of us like we were crazy.  :)  I love spending time with new families ... there is always a great story and I love that I am the one to help tell it.

This is one of my favorites... mom wanted him to hold a photo of himself as a baby and we got some great shots with the image in his lap but this one struck me the most... he is looking at his own image as though to say "this is ME???   Really?  When was I EVER that little?"   First Birthday photo shoot in Roswell GABaby Boy, First Birthday Photo Session, Roswell GA, K. I love babies in baskets with balloons on the top.  We recreate our own "hot air balloon".  I saw this on pinterest a few years ago and have done it quite a bit with great results everytime.  If you are looking to do your own photos this way, it is super easy!  My one suggestion would be to get a blanket to stuff in the bottom of the basket so it is soft if they can't stand up and it gives a little needed height for the baby to see over the top if the basket is big.   First Birthday photo shoot in Roswell GABaby Boy, First Birthday Photo Session, Roswell GA, K.
