A Very Lucky Newborn Baby Boy and his Three Big Sisters!

This is a great story and one I am so happy I could play a part in.  It was late November / early December and my phone rings and it is Shannon on the other end.  I had never spoken to her before but she got my name and website off of Expertise.com as one of Atlanta's 20 Best Newborn Photographers. 

Her photographer was unable to photograph her newborn son and the rest of her family as promised and in a timely fashion.  You can imagine the panic and frustration that sets in when things had been so perfectly organized and now a last minute change when her son was resting peacefully in her arms!!  So, like all motivated moms, she started making phone calls and searching for an available photographer.   She reached me and we talked.  I felt terrible about her situation and it tugged at my heartstrings.  Like all photographers in the crazy busy season, I knew I was crazy to add in an unexpected shoot and newborn one at that!  (A newborn shoot can typically take up to 4 hours!)  It is the busiest time of the year and all photographers are slammed, but hearing the tears, the frustration and the real desire to capture this moment, we made it happen!!  It is simply a miracle that we could work it out and get her family photos done. 

They are such a sweet family and the day turned into a wonderful opportunity to capture precious memories of their sweet family and make some new friends.  He was such a great baby for this shoot.  We started outside for some casual, lifestyle photographs and it was COLD.  He never even made a sound.  Once we came in for some warmth and traditional newborn photos, he was equally as relaxed and calm.  It was a breeze!!  

Love this family and while I am sorry they had to go through the stress of finding another photographer, I am very very glad they found me!

"A", the oldest of the three daughters, was such a huge help and amazing comfort to "E".  He clearly loved being held by his big sister.  The two middle girls were full of positive and enthusiastic energy and we captured them being kids while we were in the park.  You must look at the gorgeous blue eyes of the y9oungest girl "H", who is 20 months old.  Mom and dad are busy busy busy but filled with a lifetime of blessings. So very much at peace in his Mama's arms.  Isn't it wonderful to have these photos to look back on in years to come?  This time will go by so quickly, especially with 3 other children ranging in age from 9 years to 20 months old plus a newborn.  I believe these images will quickly become a family treasure.
