There are so many things that bring me joy in my photography but capturing years of Traditions and Family Memories is one of the best.  I took photos of “A” when she was born 3 years ago and I just took photos of her brand new baby sister last week!!  Not only was “E” a perfect little love (I did NOT want to give her back!), she was also photographed in the same bassinet that her sister had some newborn photos AND it has been in the family since 1906 and 37 family members have slept in the family heirloom bassinet.  These are amazing traditions and I simply love hearing about them and sharing in the joy… Grandma had it shipped to Atlanta from California and it spent the last several months with THREE of the families newest grand babies!

I love that this little bear pictured above is another one of this families long and beautiful traditions though not quite as old as from 1906! This teddy bear was momma’s when she was a little girl and it is pictured here with both her newborn babies, the bottom image is her oldest child, pictured 3 years ago with Mommy’s Teddy Bear and the photo just above it is little sister “E” with the bear watching over her too. So cute and so sweet!
