her newborn baby sister, plus mom, dad and the family dog!

Newborns... soft skin, beautiful tiny little hands and tiny little feet...sleeping, eating and crying... how is it that we can get so wrapped up in watching newborns for hours? This little bundle could be ours or anyone else's but it is always a miracle that brings me to my knees every single time I photograph a new family with their new baby. It is captivating to think about who the baby will be, what will they like, will they be a writer, a athlete or a Doctor? Where will they go to school and who will they marry. Will they be happy? So much is wrapped up in this little bundle of love we take photos of. All the hopes, dreams, wishes, fears and more. Wow.... But while they are this small, we must capture these moments because they go by so very quickly.

It was with great pleasure that I met and spent time with this lovely family. 2 Beautiful little girls... "Q" was just 9 days new on the day of our shoot and Big sister "D" was great. Big Sister sat so very gently while she had "Q" in her arms and she softly gave her little butterfly kisses on the top of her head and gazed at her so lovingly. Mom and dad were AWESOME. Might be some of the sweetest and kindest parents we've worked with. So very helpful and accommodating... their kids have wonderful role models!

I think of all the things this beautiful family has to look forward too... all the memories and milestones, all the tears of joy, all the smiles and I smile, grateful to have captured the first few days of this precious babies life. They are timeless and without question, the images we made together will be treasured. What a great "job" I have.
