Want to know one of the best perks of my job?  I get to meet awesome new families that live right here in my Murphey Candler /  Brookhaven neighborhood!!  We are literally three minutes away by car and maybe 10 walking.   I love what I do and when I get to share it with fun new families, I'm overjoyed!!  I was referred to this family for newborn photos and Emily (my able bodied assistant as well as my sweet daughter) and I went over there to spend a little time taking photos of mom, dad, big brother and baby Matthew.  He was ADORABLE!!  He was three weeks old which is a little older than most of the newborns but he did a great job!!  It took awhile to get him sleepy (which sometimes happens with older and bigger babies) but we were patient and it paid off.  In the meantime, while he was awake, we played with dad and big brother John outside.  Overall, it was a huge success both for the photographs we captured as well as adding a new family to my list of awesome friends!!
