It is hard to believe that we are entering spring and the time, once again, has come for spring break. My family LOVES Gulf Shores, AL. We go visit multiple times per year and find amazing things to do each time. I don't frequently post my own activities but I love to share photos and figured I would share some of my own family too! As many of you know, Gulf Shores is a mere 6 hour drive from Atlanta and very easy to do with children.

As a photographer, we are always well documented when it comes to family photos. :) My kids are used to being experimented upon and asked to take "just ONE more!", especially whenever I get a new piece of equipment!! They also happen to be some of my favorite subjects!! I am thrilled with the images, as always.

One of the highlights of our visit was a sunset sail on SailOB.com. We "rented" a sailboat for the evening and were able to bring snacks and beverages on board while we sailed around and watched a beautiful, spectacular sunset that was as though God painted the canvas just for us. Ahhhmazing! Captain Ryan was fantastic, knowledgeable and very easy going.

One night we ventured over to Cosmo's in Orange Beach for dinner and I think we all died and went to heaven. If you are in the area, this is a must eat location. The live music was adorable... there was a couple signing and they were about 70+ years old. Their voices were simply beautiful as they played everything from Johnny Cash to Neil Diamond and Megan Trainor to Bonnie Raitt. They were awesome!! The meal was to DIE for and the drinks were strong. :)

I was sitting and reading on the beach when I looked up and these three were playing... not sure exactly what but I quickly grabbed my camera and shot their silhouette's. I love this image so much as it just really captures their personalities. Such a great memory for me. :) They might be teenagers but they are never too old to play with their daddy on the beach!

Could this be any more amazing? This was our view from the sailboat with SailOB.com. Sunset sail in Orange Beach AL My awesome puppy... though she is not really a puppy anymore as you can tell by the white muzzle. She is still a puppy at heart though... she loves to catch sand crabs and enjoys the chase. The only difference these days is that she takes a little longer to recover before she leaps back up again to chase them again. I love this photograph of Lucy.

My awesome youngest baby girl. I could just squish her... time just goes by so fast. It seems like just yesterday when we were visiting gulf shores and she hated to put her feet on the sand. As we would lower her to the sand, she would lift her feet higher and higher. We had a bucket that she would put her feet in so she did not have to get them sandy. :) Hilarious... the things we do for our children!!

Even our three rescue dogs LOVE playing in the sand and were so frisky they were leaping all over the place and could not sit still at all. They had a blast!! Chris and the girls and I could not stop watching and enjoying their joy! :)
