Newborns... Soft, beautiful, tiny, perfect... these are just a few words to describe newborns. It is always such a joy to capture these precious moments that are so quick to fly by. 10 tiny fingers, 10 tiny toes... a perfect little mouth and sleepy little bodies. As a parent myself, I recall the days when all I could do was simply stare in wonder at the perfect little newborn Chris and I created. It is simply a miracle. In the sleepless nights and early morning feedings, time goes so fast! My photos help instantly bring me back to these feelings and emotions... they are my treasure and I hope I can make those same treasures for your family.

This beautiful couple is clearly overjoyed and in love with "L". I loved their home, decorated in neutrals and very bright and cheerful. Mom works for Coastal Living and has an amazing eye for decorating!! I loved her clean, simple, classic style and it was such an easy space to take photos in. We were in the nursery, mom and dad's bed, the family room, on the floor... we were everywhere for the photographs! It was great!! :) Little "L" was a mere 6 weeks old. A little bit older that most traditional newborn photos but I will never ever turn any parents away with "it's too late" to take newborn photos. Yes, poses change as the babies grow even a few days old but never is it too late to take photos. Look at these... they are perfect and so are mom and dad.

What a blessing... I wish them many many years of joy, love and happiness as a growing and beautiful family.
