Family Photos with Teenage Boys!

This family is crazy and I love them.  Photos with teenage boys is always interesting... and it can go in any number of different directions.  This one was loads of fun.  We were at Roswell Mill in Roswell GA for this family photo shoot and we started very seriously and it quickly went from there... crazy, fun and simply AWESOME!!  

 I have known this family for years and years....  Patty and I worked together as pre-school teachers for a 2 year old class at Chamblee Methodist.  We have been fast and lifelong friends since then.  It has been about 10 years (??? give or take) and our friendship only gets richer and better.  We have traveled together, worked together, had dinner and family nights together and so much more.  Patty is now a kindergarten teacher and I'm a photographer.  :)  But our friendship is steadfast.   Enjoy these great photos and I hope they tell a story about a fun and gregarious family that has a great together no matter what they do!! 

I admire so many things about my friends and each one brings something different to the table.  This woman is an inspiration to me... I watch how she treats all children with respect and honor no matter what their age and how she raises her own sons to be kind, giving and to think for themselves.    For example, they come to her with a problem and instead of solving it, she says "how are you going solve that problem?"  She empowers her boys and she does the same with all the kids she teaches.  What an awesome gift to all of those children.
