Such a great family and a wonderful celebration for little E's first birthday cake smash.  We started off the shoot with some family photos in Murphey Candler Park and chased little "E" all over.  It was HOT HOT HOT and he was having a ball while we were melting.  He was all smiles and grins with the wonderful attention bestowed upon him by his family.  Both sets of grandparents live out of town so this was a great opportunity to create some fun family portraits while "E" celebrated his first birthday.  Once we quickly took some outdoor photos, we moved the party inside to my home studio and tried a few different set ups before jumping into the cake smash.  

I LOVE these cute ones with "E" and these sweet little boy props in my studio.  I likebright, colorful photos with young children and this is a perfect example of my style!  The white backdrop and the cute colorful outfit and small props really make the photographs pop.    The wagon and the little red airplane were remotely interesting to him but the little red lantern was a HUGE hit and one he would not put down!  I think

you can tell from all these photos that he is a very very happy little boy who is always ready with an easy grin for all who look at him.

Happy First Birthday E!!  And what a great First Birthday Cake Smash!  The last photo shows him totally exhausted and sad because his cake was gone and all that remained was a bath.
