One of my favorite shoots is always a First Birthday Cake Smash... we always do some outdoor photos (weather permitting) with various set ups and this shoot was a "hot air balloon" theme and Charlie LOVED it!!! He was so thrilled with the balloons flying overhead... he could not get enough. In addition to some outdoor shots, we also do a variety of indoor studio photos with a simple, classic background focusing on the child. I like clean lines and simple "props". The star of ALL the images is the baby!! Always. :)

i photographed Charlie when he was a newborn and to see him again a year later and all the huge and beautiful changes is lovely and to be documenting this for this sweet little man makes me very happy. I love what I do.

Could he be any cuter and any happier???? I don't think so. He was smiles the ENTIRE shoot... not one sad little face or one little tear during his whole shoot. I LOVE him. :)
